card size CDs. The business card option does require 12x CD recorders.

Advantages
of Thermal Printing
Rimage developed
and owns the thermal printing technology.
Thermal
printing differs from inkjet printing in two significant ways.
First, thermal
printing is fast. It requires no drying time. Inkjet printing is slower
and requires time for the printed label to set.
Second,
CDs printed with an ink jet printer can smudge or fade. Thermal printers
do not.
Perfect
Print ™
For
those who want to take advantage of CD silk-screen printing for logos
and consistent graphics, but want to add specific information, PerfectPrintTM
is the answer.
PerfectPrintTM combines the artistry of silk-screen
printing with Rimage Thermal on-demand printing.
By using an optical sensor to detect a mark on the index ring of the silk-screened
disc, the Automation Station robotics automatically positions each silk-screened
disc prior printing.
The result? Your customized information is always properly aligned with
the CD silk-screened artwork.
Warranty
& Service Upgrade Program
Standard
Warranty is Factory Depot Repair under a normal 15-day average repair
and return schedule. Loaner systems are not available. You may choose
to upgrade your warranty with On-Site, Rapid Exchange, or enhanced Depot
service.
Rapid
Exchange Program
- Includes
all parts (excluding printhead).
- Customer
contacts Rimage Account Services with problem.
- Rimage
provides a replacement unit (refurbished) delivered to the customer
the next business day if order is placed before 2:00PM central
time.
- Customer
returns the malfunctioning unit to Rimage within 5 business days.
- Customer
keeps the replacement unit; Rimage keeps the returned unit.
- Customer
is responsible for shipping charges to Rimage, and Rimage will pay for
shipping charges to the customer.
- Contract
exclusions: Routine maintenance including, but not limited to, changing
of ribbons, cleaning of jams, cleaning printhead and/or drive, drive
replacements and equipment moves.
Depot
Program
- Includes
all parts (excluding printhead).
- Equipment
is shipped to Rimage's depot located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Rimage
shall endeavor to return equipment back to the customer within five
business days.
- Customer
is responsible for shipping charges to Rimage, and Rimage will pay for
the shipping charges to the customer.
- All items
will be shipped next day air.
- Contract
exclusions: Routine maintenance including, but not limited to, changing
of ribbons, cleaning of jams, cleaning printhead and/or drive, drive
replacements and equipment moves.
On-Site
Program
- Includes
all parts (excluding printhead), labor and travel expenses.
- Two preventive
maintenance calls are provided during the term of this agreement and
may take place as part of a maintenance visit.
- Unlimited
emergency calls.
- Contract
exclusions: Routine maintenance including, but not limited to, changing
of ribbons, cleaning of jams, cleaning printhead and/or drive, drive
replacements and equipment moves.
